For the first time, Summoning Circle Press brings you a full booklet of games! Strange, poetic, ritualistic, playable experiences to be specific. These rituals we offer you are for your grief related to Dead Games. Sometimes games never get past one session, characters are gone too soon, a scheduling apocalypse leaves you hanging, or finally, after years of campaigning, the story ends. All endings have weight. Let us help you carry what we can.

Ritualists:

Anna George (@bookmarkaday on Instagram) is a writer and comics lover who is fueled through life by love of narrative, games, silliness and cats. While working in comics takes up most of her time, she fills the rest either with her partner or as Ellywick the gnome, Lizzie the orc or the great and terrible DM.

Sam Hotchkiss (@Hotchmoney, he/they) is a zine editor and game designer from Philadelphia, PA. Their zines focus on advice and ideas from around the games industry. Sam is currently working on a Magic cube and taking care of a new cat.

Jess Elizabeth Reed (@jexewizabee.bsky.social, she/her) is a queer writer and game designer of horror, the dark, and the weird. Her work—including games, creative writing, and criticism—can be found on her website at jesselizabethreed.com.

qrowscant (they/he) is an artist and writer whose work primarily focuses on grief, body horror, and other such unpleasant things. Find their online habitat at qrowscant.neocities.org.

Quinn (@quinnbeckham27.bsky.social, any/all) is a queer and trans creator who is new to the world of TTRPG writing. Quinn is primarily an Actual Play performer, but they are hoping to dive deeper into the world of game design in the upcoming year and have some very queer, hopefully very exciting projects in the works. You can find them on BlueSky or follow along for more games at quinnbeck.itch.io.

Jupiter Wildwood is a queer & disabled maker/writer/witch based in Tkaronto. Her work often touches on intimacy, queer magic, and a love of being alive. Find her under a mountain of unfinished crafts. Find writing of all kinds at orbw.itch.io

This is our first project that we haven't crowd funded! Your material support lets us keep making stuff. We hope Rituals For can continue as an offering from us to explore different themes through little games. SPLAT will return in the future.

The Tomb

At Breakout Con 2025, we solicited epitaphs of your dead characters and campaigns to immortalize in a free companion project. Here it is listed as a free "demo" for your enjoyment. Feel free to add your own epitaphs in the comment section of this project.

Thank you for the community copy, I can't wait to play through the solo games, I just read through part of them, and they seem amazing! I will comment/rate in a few days :) Just wanted to let you know I think there may be an issue with the "spread" version of the file, which looks to be the same file as the single page one? (Or maybe the issue is just on my end?) Thank you again.

Thank you for catching that! We had used the wrong export setting. The spreads PDF has been fixed :)
